Sat 16th April - Millwall v Rest of the World & Annual Rugby Fun Day

This coming Saturday 16th April sees the annual tradition of Millwall v Rest of the World.... along with our ever popular Rugby fun day.  All this takes place on Mudchute Farm's Lower Paddock.

For anyone new to the club, this is when all of the English players at Millwall Rugby proudly don the red, black and white colours and enter into the fiercest of contests with the ruffians from all the other countries around the world wearing their own national colours.

Provisional Timetable

12.00 to 13.00 – Under 12 XV
13.15 to 14.15 – Under 15 XV
14.30 to 15.30 – Venus (10s game)
15.45 to 17.45 – Millwall vs Rest of the World (4 x 25 mins game, with youth taking conversions)

The club's committees and volunteers are all working really hard to make this the event of the year - and there'll be a bar, music, barbecue/food stall, sweet shop. There may even be a bouncy castle and perhaps some other surprises.

You'll also have a last chance to buy your tickets to the club's House of Commons Annual Dinner before the early booking discount expires and the price goes up.  So dust off your long-lost chequebook, or bring cash or card.

How to get involved

To play:

  • for the youth - contact your coach/team manager
  • for venus - contact venus@millwallrugby.com

Millwall 4th XV v Ravens 7-12

MILLWALL'S fourth XV flew the flag on Saturday (April 2) as the only team at the Isle of Dogs club with a fixture.

The Odd Socks entertained Ravens at Millwall Park in a friendly, narrowly losing out to the visitors 7-12.

This Saturday (April 9), the Millwall fourth XV face Old Brentwoods' thirds in the Plate final at Southend.

It is a repeat of last season's Cup final encounter which saw the Odd Socks edged out 5-0 by the Essex club.

Meanwhile, Millwall's first XV travel to Old Cooperian's in their last league game of the season.

But the team go to the Upminster-based club safe in the knowledge that a play-off game for a place in London Division 3 next term is already secured.
