Well the English Rugby Season is fast drawing to a close, with the final of the 2012 Guinness Premiership at Twickenham this coming weekend.  But fear not Millwall Faithful we have a weekend of entertainment planned to keep you entertained.

Eurovision Song Contest - Saturday 26th May

Eurovision Song Contest Fancy Dress Party - yep, I know it's not as good as when Sir Terry used to do it.....but let's face it, nobody cares & you'll have been at the clubhouse since the Premiership Final anyway & won't know your Azerbaijan from your River Elbe by then.

So why not take the opportunity to upset your European friends with your cultural insensitivity by dressing up as a stereotypical European for the evening?

There will be prizes for the best dressed, (although you may not want to win them), and forfeits for those who've merely strung some Equinox garlic around their necks on the way in the door.

Don't forget our touch rugby season is now in full swing!

Come along every TUESDAY and THURSDAY from 7.30pm until 9pm.  We're also playing every Sunday from 4 to 5.30pm.

If you're new to the game, we can show you.... this is the perfect time to get involved with Millwall Rugby Club and find out what a friendly place it is.

Bring a friend... we will always teach you the rules... and you don't need to be fit or skinny to play.  But you soon will be!

We're looking for Rugby Coaches

We’re looking for lots of new talent to join our volunteer coaching team!  Here's what we are looking for...

• Head Coach (or Director of Rugby) – Minimum RFU level 2 qualified and appropriate CPD courses
• Forwards Coach – Minimum RFU level 1 and appropriate CPD courses
• Backs Coach - Minimum RFU level 1 and appropriate CPD courses
• Assistant Coaches – to support one of our Men’s, Women’s or Youth Squads – on a rota basis.

Millwall Rugby Club is a friendly community rugby club based on the Isle of Dogs, near Canary Wharf in London. We currently field 3 men’s teams, a women’s team and 3 youth teams. 

We'd be really grateful if you could share this advert with anyone you think who may be interested.  

We probably can't pay a coach at the moment (beyond basic expenses), but we can fund coaching qualifications for someone who is interested in developing their skills.
