This Week!

Wicked Wednesday - Wednesday, 3^rd of October

Paul Fisher will be hosting this week’s Wicked Wednesday.  Come on down for some good laughs and drinks.  Chef Shezza will be cooking pork and it might either be marinated pork chops with spanish beans and chorizo or slow roast pork with roasted.  Either way, can you say yum!  Also, Cheese will be leading his 2^nd to last workout in the park from 7:00 to 8:00 for £5.  This is your 2^nd to last chance to experience a Cheese workout so come on down!!!  Clubhouse will be open from 7:30 pm onwards.

Fantastic Friday, Friday 5^th of October

Adrienne will be hosting this Friday at the clubhouse from 19:30 onwards.  It’s a great way to begin the weekend with great drinks and banter.

Saturday Clubhouse Open – 6^th of October

The times are still to be confirmed but will let you know when the clubhouse will be open on Saturday.  The men’s teams will have games on this Saturday so head on out and cheer them on.

Upcoming Events

Backyard Beach Party, 13^th of October

Remaining hopeful that we will have nice weather in October let's have a summertime beach party. Come down in your summertime gear or simply change at the clubhouse. It doesn't have to be bathing suits but definitely casual and summery (weather permitting of course). 

This will tie in with us saying good-bye to 2 of our members, Cheese and Emma-Louise as they leave us for summertime in NZ. So come on down, share a few beverages and enjoy the summertime Millwall style. 

We will have a limbo stick and it would be great if some people can bring down their hula hoops for some fun!  Summer and fun playlists will be welcome!  So come down and play dj.

Bavarian Beerhouse – 18^th of October

Please let me know if you’re coming as soon as you can.  I still need to make a reservation for everyone that wants to be there.  If you’re interested in food, the Tastecard will apply, so it’s either 50% for one person or 2 for 1 if you share with another person.  For those interested in purchasing a Tastecard, it can be done by visting their website.  They currently have an offer for a year’s subscription at £29.95.  Enter the promotional code Mary to get the discount.

More details to come but it will be it will be the true spirit of Halloween!  Trust me, this is one not to be missed!

Video of Matt Shorrock’s Testimonial Match

Tim has added a short video of Matt Shorrock's testimonial match to the Millwall Facebook Video page and also on YouTube.  This is an opportunity for the players to see themselves on video.  Also, some players may not play again for the club due to retirement or moving away so it has become a bit of a historical record.

Tim will also put together a DVD which will contain all of the photos that both he and Edna took on that day along with a full 15 minute video of the game. These will be sold for £15 at the clubhouse with all of the proceeds to be contributed to the Flood Lights Fund.
