Hump Day – Wednesday, 19th of December, open at 19:30
Message from Gareth: Hi
all HHD Followers
Early Xmas Offer - Buy One DM Get One DM Free!!! (While stocks last)
Well Ladies & Gents, we have decided to give you a real treat to send you off on your Xmas hols. This Wednesday will be a Wiggy Hump Day as Wiggy will be opening the clubhouse at 7.30pm and then I will take over from 8.30pm - who says we don't spoil you!!!
Chef Shez will be cooking Lancashire Hot pot for your dining pleasure (take it from me, it's better than my mums/Kirstie's - but don't tell either of them I said so!!)
We will also be celebrating the following landmarks on this day in history:
1) 1843 – Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol goes on sale (Wiggy may even wear his Xmas outfit again)
2) 1958 – Birth of Limahl, English singer (from Kajagoogoo)
3) 1983 – The original FIFA World Cup trophy, the Jules Rimet Trophy, is stolen from the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (unfortunately, this did not lead to the demise of the game of football!!)
After tomorrow, Wednesday openings will start up again on the 9th Jan
See you there

Clubhouse Closed – Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of December
Friday, December 21st
– The Ferry House, after 6 pm
At
a loose end with the clubhouse closed?
How about going to The Ferry House which is owned by one of our
members? The Ferry House has undergone
some changes in the last few month and is looking really different. The décor is
undergoing changes and it’s looking bright and airy. Why not come down and see the changes for
yourself? The kitchen is open and Abs wants to get feedback on his bar
snacks/menu. So come on down and try the
food and say hi to Abs who is supposed to be working…
