Ryan chaired a well-attended meeting of the clubhouse subcommittee tonight. The meeting was a chance for members to come along and have a say in the way the clubhouse is run. All the club's subcommittees are completely open to all members to join and get involved.

- Making sure the bar operations and clubhouse support the core playing activities
- Role of duty managers
- Improving stock control
- Reducing waste
- Cleaning/Maintenance and general expenditure on things
- Reminding members about things such as "being nice to duty managers asking them to leave at closing time", dispelling myths that bar volunteers are paid (it's not the case... we wish it were!)
- Making sure the right people can get access to the clubhouse when they need to (keys and cards)
- Finding out why people come to the bar and why people don't
