Clubhouse Openings and Upcoming Event - week of 10/12/12

This week’s clubhouse openings and upcoming events!

Clubhouse Openings

Hargreaves Hump Day – Wednesday, 12th of December, open at 19:30
Message from Gareth:  Well, I have decided to give up doing my Christmas shopping as according to the Mayan’s the world will end on 21/12/12 – so no point in spending money on stuff that won’t see the light of day!!! Instead, I am going to spend this cash on pints of Guinness/Bombardier in the clubhouse this Wednesday to celebrate the following key events.

1) 12/12/12 - It’s the 12th Day of the 12th Month of the 12th Year.
2) In 1901 – Guglielmo Marconi receives the first transatlantic radio signal at Signal Hill in St John's, Newfoundland.
3) In 1965 – Birth of Will Carling.

Also, Shez will be cooking up a nice hearty warming Cottage Pie with Cumin Glazed Parsnips to warm your cockles during this cold snap before the world ends!!  See you there!

Wiggy’s Weekend Warm-Up – Friday 14th of December, open at 19:30
Come on down to start the weekend right! There’ll be the usual - laughs, banter and drinks!  The clubhouse will be open from 19:30 onwards.

Clubhouse Open – Saturday 15th, open TBC
Game times for this week’s game will be posted later in the week.  So head out and watch our men’s teams out on the pitch.  Also, drinks will have an extra 50p added to them to raise money for First Aid Courses for some members.

Clubhouse Events  -  Monday, 31st of December
New Year’s Eve Party, clubhouse open at 8 pm
The clubhouse will be open on New Year's Eve to ring in 2013. There will be the usual good tunes, dancing and drinks and a good time will be had by all. No need to pay entrance, wait in long queues or buy expensive drinks when you can just head on down to the rugby club. Of course, we'll be open late to ring in the New Year.

All are welcome to come on down and celebrate!!!! Invite others by joining and selecting 'invite friends' on the event.

Get in touch with Ryan (ryan@millwallrugby.com) if you'd like to volunteer behind the bar and get in touch with Brigitte (socialsecretary@millwallrugby.com) if you have any questions.
