Clubhouse Openings, Events and Games (w/c 18/11)

All,
Hopefully you all had a good long 3 weekend break from league games. We have a full programme of 4 games this weekend (1sts and 2nds are @ Home on Saturday, 3rds are away on Saturday and Venus are away at Barking on Sunday). For those of you who aren't playing this weekend, make sure you get down and show your support.

The club will be open this week during the following times this week;

Wednesday - "Training & Curry Night" - DM GH open from 7.30PM
Make sure you come down to the club on the Wednesday. For those of you who play, please keep up the effort and the great numbers we have seen on recent training sessions. We are on an upward curve as a club and we don't want to loose momentum. Curry will be ordered/served for those who want it as well.
For anyone that wants to be trained up as bar staff or duty managers - pop down and Gareth will give you a master-class. Let Gareth know via gareth@millwallrugby.com know first so we can gauge demand (even if you can't make this Weds)

Friday - Karen's Weekend Warmup - DM KA open from 7.30PM
Karen will be opening this Friday to ease you into the weekend! We will be showing the Wales vs Tonga game on the TV as well (ko 7.30pm)

Saturday - DM KA open from 3PM
Yes, Karen is your dutiful duty manager again so you get to have the pleasure of her looking after you for 2 days running!

Hope to see you all there! We will be recording the rugby games as well so people can watch them back so they can still support the 1sts in their League game and the Llamas in their cup game.
The Clubhouse will be open from 3pm to show the autumn internationals that afternoon (Italy v Argentina 3pm KO, Scotland v Australia 6pm KO, France v South Africa 9pm).
Karen will be looking for volunteers to help her run the bar, so if you are bar trained, please email secretary@millwallrugby.com letting her know what time you can give.

Sunday - 2003 RWC Celebration QUIZ NIGHT
DM & Quiz Master TBC open from 3PM, quiz from 5.30PM
This is a new monthly slot which Jo our social secretary has set-up. So come down and pit your wits against your fellow members.
The first quiz we are doing is a charity one to raise funds for the RFU Injured Players Foundation. It is also themed to tie into the 10th anniversary of England winning the world cup - so plenty of rugby related questions to go at.

The RFU Injured Players Foundation is the official charity of England Rugby. With your backing, they look after seriously injured players for life and help prevent future injuries through research and education (and they have provided us with medical kits in the past for free).

Places are only £5 per person (with a max of 8 people per team*)

*Mr Beech can only play in a maximum team size of 1 - otherwise it's not fair ;-)
