Coaching News, Courses etc

Please note that we have Rugby Ready, Scrum Factory, Coach Education and  CPD courses coming up locally over the next few months including two at Millwall.

These can all be booked online and you can contact Matt who, as well as being Millwall Head Coach, is also our England Rugby Community Rugby Coach. CPDs are player centric, usually relatively informal and can be attended by people who do not have a coaching licence.  Contact Matt - mattwatts@rfu.com

December Coach Education - Saracens

We are a partner club of Saracens and they are running the following

Date: Monday 7th December 2015
Title: ADAPTIVE GAMES SARACENS EPDG COACH OBSERVATION
With: Russell Earnshaw – Professional Player Development RFU
Time: 7-9pm
Venue – Allianz Park

The evening will be covering a range of information including;
Observation of adaptive games, not just rugby balls!
How to develop and adaptive game, understanding of space how to develop constraints
Interactive input

With the performance of the All Blacks in the world cup over the past few months, the question is how do we get our English players to develop in the same way. Adaptive games allow the players to discover answers and learn how to solve issues in the game, improve their skill set and be able to perform a skill to consistent results no matter what position they play or aspire to be.

If you would like to book a place on the evening please email Lewis Sones | Head Of Rugby Delivery & Coach Development  with the following
Name:
DPP Group: Millwall Rugby
Age Group:
Email address:

Saracens also provide a video library on coaching

First Aid - Sunday November 15

Thanks
