The club has agreed to be a leading participating club in the new 02 Touch initiative which will see £5k worth of funding coming into the club over 3 years to build up this touch franchise, with the aim of us being self-sufficient thereafter.
Scott Vinnicombe will be leading on this, but we need a team of organisers and volunteers to help him. I am arranging a kick off meeting with Scott and our RFU RDO, Neil Sweeney, this Friday at the clubhouse at 7pm.
If any of you are interested in getting involved in organising this, or helping out at the sessions themselves, please let me know. The meeting is open to all, but it doesn't matter if you can't make it. Scott will be able to brief everyone once we are set up.
