Calling all Islanders!

First there was 'The Only Way Is Essex'. Then came 'Made in Chelsea'. Now it's our turn!

Tiger Aspect Productions is developing a brand new factual series called The Islanders (working title). Over the last month they have been filming on the Isle of Dogs and speaking to lots of people to become familiar with 'island life'. At this stage, what they are filming is not for broadcast, but to contribute to a development taster tape. If the powers that be like it, the series could go into production.

This Saturday, 23rd March, Tiger Aspects will be coming to Millwall Rugby Club to do some filming around the 1st XV match and they'd like to interview some club members who have lived on the island all their life or who work on the island.

Specifically, they want to hear more about island life and how the area has changed over the last 50 years. They are looking for stories from all perspectives - from youngsters to the grown-ups, and older!

Please email me asap at sophiemorris@millwallrugby.com if you have lived on the island for all/most of your life, or if you work on the island, and would be willing to be interviewed after the game on Saturday. I will need to get a bit more information from you to pass on to Tiger Aspect and will then schedule in the interviews.

This could be another great piece of exposure for the club and who knows...you could be the next Joey Essex!
